We are almost there, school
is nearly out for the summer! How did that come around so quickly? What to
do to keep those darlings entertained? Don't despair if you are staying put
because London town will not disappoint; north, south, east and west, it's
party time.

London Bridge, Oranges
& Lemons, Ring a Ring of Roses … it is all going on at the biggest
street party in town. Closed to traffic on Saturday, London
Bridge is being transformed into a riot of music, stories, street-art,
dancing and general London pride. As locations go for a party, you can't
beat it.

If you are
after a little more of a challenge, make your way to Kensington Gardens on
Saturday from 11-5pm. The Peter Pan treasure hunt is complete with fairies,
pirates and even the odd croc to watch out for. There will be an
old-fashioned funfair, prizes for best dressed and fun and games all round.
Book ahead,
adult £16, child £12 and all proceeds go to Great Ormond Street.

It's good to see that
Liberté, Egalité and Fraternité are alive and well in Battersea Park for
the Bastille Day
celebrations this weekend. On Sunday there is a Summer Party with a boules
championship, French films en plein air, music, Raymond Blanc sipping vin
blanc, and Club Petit
Pierrot are in charge of the kids, so expect some fully French
fun. At 4pm there is even a Bastille Day balloon release, vive la France!

With all
these parties it might be a plan to bypass the super sugar rush of fake
lollies or Mr Whippys and look out for these truly DELICIOUS Real Nice Ice
Lollies. They come in 3 flavours, Banana & Raspberry, Mixed
Berry and Mango, there are no additives, just fruit, so they can eat them
to their hearts content.

Stop Press,
move aside guide books, here is the new way of seeing London. Shoot London
treasure maps have put together this fantastic concept of a photo treasure
hunt. After four years of compiling photos, this interactive guide takes
you around the city searching for images in the guide and turning you into
